Girls Workshops
A safe space for girls to discuss their experiences
In collaboration with the local school system, we provide workshops and forums in which girls can safely discuss their personal experiences – especially those that stand in the way of their education, their development and their future prospects. The girls can openly express themselves, support each other, actively engage with their communities and share their concerns and challenges.
The workshops not only provide the girls with extra information on areas such as hygiene and sexual health but also create a safe space for them to disclose anything abusive that may be happening to them within their home or village.
Through individual coaching and fast action, we also offer emergency support for young girls who may have become pregnant or due to unsafe home situations have nowhere to live.
