Participants: 500 + parents, guardians, politicians, police officers, teachers, educational officers

Objectives:

• Educate parents, guardians and the community at large about the challenges faced by young girls
• Get these people to support and engage in the Femlead process
• Help the adults to understand, respect and support the rights of the girl child

Key Issues Discussed:

• What leads young girls to drop out of school
• The disadvantages of child prostitution
• The physical harm done to the girl child who is pressed to use contraception from an early age (10 years old).
• The physical harm of early pregnancy
• Family planning, health and hygiene
• Early/child marriages
